The present education system is all right with the syllabus covering all the aspects of life like science, social studies and even languages but we think more needs to be done for sure. The students should not only be taught about chemical equations but also the ill-effects of chemicals to the fish and other marine life. They should not only be taught about minerals and the methods to extract them from the earth but also all the ways to minimize mining to save the earth. The side effects of using appliances and equipment's containing radiation should also be controlled. Students of today are going to be the architects of tomorrow so they must learn to shape the earth by befriending the environment not by exploiting and plundering it.The goals of environmental education are to provide every person with opportunities to acquire the knowledge, values, attitudes, commitment, and skills needed to protect and improve the environment; to create new patterns of behavior of individuals, groups, and society as a whole towards the environment.

Environment education has made such a positive impact on the students that many have pledged not to burst crackers during the Diwali festival. They know the consequences of ash and fumes of crackers on the air and the ill-effects of noises from the bursting of crackers to the environment, especially for animals for whom it becomes unbearable. The best part is that they encourage and persuade others to follow suit and say no to crackers. Another aspect that has come to be very innovative is the planting of a tree by the birthday boy/girl on their birthday. They are also responsible to nurture them and help them grow.
